09P - The display shut down during the ride

Symptoms 1

The display turns on every few minutes

Reason

The display auto-off setting is on, which can set the power off every few minutes.
Plus There is no speed registered. i.e. no speed sensor is set up properly.

Solution

Go to the auto-off setting page on display, Press the Up/Down button to change it to off.

Symptom 2

Reason

BMS shut down, BMS is not rated enough for the motor and BMS protected and cut out power, usually resuming after replugging in the battery. 

Solution

set the motor to a lower power or replace the controller.

Symptom 2

The display turns off randomly, need to unplug the battery to turn on the display. The display flashes.

Reason

Can be both controller or display, check with hot wiring the controller to see if it works first.

Replace controller
