Symptoms


The Chainring threads are Stripped.

The chain would quickly climb off on the lowest two or three gears.

The narrow teeth on the sprocket are blunt not pointed like the wide teeth. The chain climbs off the sprocket on the 2 lowest and the 2 highest speeds on the 9-speed cassette.

Reasons 


The manufactory issue mainly happens in the 34T and 38T.

  1. Ensure the thread is not made by human cause, e.g. cut, crush, etc. 
  2. Do the replacement
