X1 Stealth Gen 3: Motor resistance when pushing backward

Symptoms

• CAN'T PUSH bike backward
• The motor resistance with both Throttle and PAS condition 

Reasons

• Mosfet is Dead

Huge resistance when moving the motor with the off throttle or off controller means the Mosfet is dead.

This is a less common case because it is an electronic topic instead of mechanical parts.

Checklist

1. Turn crank backwards

2. Hold pedal turn chainring

3. turn crank and changing together (forward)

4. Turn chainring without holding crank

• Replace the Controller
