Download the Software & Firmware Files
Click the links below and download TPSERVICE software AND the appropriate firmware file.
TPSERVICE Software:
WARNING: Be sure to download the correct firmware for your display version! If you upload, for example, the 72V firmware to the 52V display, you will cause irreversible damage to the display. This will not be covered by warranty.
Prepare the Downloaded Files
Extract the downloaded zip file, TPSERVICE.zip, and double click the TPSERVICE.exe (or application file) and follow the prompt to instal the application.
After successfully installing the application, the “TPSERVICE” software will show in your files or on your desktop.
Now, open the application and proceed to Step 1.
STEP 1: CONNECT THE CABLES
- Connect the programming cable to the
battery.
Please note that the controller and display programming wires are NOT the same. - Plug the USB to the PC’s USB port. The
opposite end of the programming cable is connected to the main connector of the
wiring harness.
- Connect the DS103 display to the display connector of the wiring harness.
STEP 2: CHOOSE THE CORRECT COM PORT
- Check the
UART drop-down, find the new COM port. For example, COM3 is the port for this
programming cable. Kindly note each programming cable may use to different COM
port. You might need to try different ones.
- Select “DS103”
under “Product:” and select “COM” port of your programming cable under the
drop-down menu. Here is COM3 for this programming cable.
STEP 3: SELECT THE FIRMWARE FILE
- Press the “Update File:” button
- Select the appropriate firmware file.
WARNING: Be sure to select the correct firmware! If you connect the 72V firmware version to the 52V version display, you will cause irreversible damage to the display. This will not be covered by warranty.
STEP 4: UPLOAD THE FIRMWARE
- Click the “Connect” button on the dashboard
- Click on the
“Update” button
- Then right after,
quickly press the POWER button of DS103 display for 1 second, it will
prompt that the display is now connected. You should NOT need to long press the POWER button. The display should NOT be turned on.
- Then wait for 5
seconds, the firmware update procedure will start automatically.
STEP 5: DISCONNECT THE DISPLAY
After the update has been 100% installed, click the “Disconnect” button and unplug the DS103 display.

WARNING: Ensure that you load the correct firmware version on your display. Loading the 52V firmware onto the 72V display version will corrupt the display and be irreparable (and vice versa). Have a look at the section below on "how to determine if you have a 52V or 72V version DS103 display?". Loading incorrect firmware will not be warranted.
How to determine if you have a 52V or 72V version DS103 display?
You can determine the display ver by asking CYC to check the serial number at the back of your display or you can simply look at the appearance of the display's corners as shown in the below reference images:
The flat corner = 52V version
The round corner = 72V version
