IMPORTANT
- All suppliers are familiar with CYC kits & provide reliable battery solutions
- Your battery needs to have a female XT90 or XT90-S connector for our systems; if your battery pack does not have this connector type, please look for an adaptor or swap the connectors out
- We strongly recommend reading our blog posts regarding choosing your battery if you are unsure about what specifications you need:
BAC855, CYC X6 Battery Recommendations
For the BAC855 controller, you'll need a 52V 60A continuous current in order to reach the max power capabilities of our system.
For the CYC X6 controller, you'll need a 52V (can support up to 72V for X1 Pro) 50A continuous current in order to reach the max power capabilities of our system.
For the BAC2000 controller, you'll need a 72V 80A continuous current in order to reach the max power capabilities of our system.
For the CYC X12 controller, you'll need a 72V 80A continuous current in order to reach the max power capabilities of our system.
Photon (XP6) Battery Recommendation
The CYC X6P controller for Photon can handle 90A peak phase current and requires 32A continuous and 40A peak battery current to run its maximum performance. We suggest opting for 36V – 52V batteries.
Wire Gauge for CYC Kits
You will need is to make an extension cable with an XT90 connector (male on the controller side; female on the battery side), & AWG-12 or AWG-10 wiring or you can purchase one like in the link below: https://lunacycle.com/custom-xt90-backpack-leash-cable-extender/
