How to determine the max charge current for a battery?

Max fast charging current = 0.5 * Battery Capacity

For example, 52V 10ah battery, 

0.5 * 10 = 5A

The max fast charging is 5A

Connectors 

Our kits come standard with XT90 (M) connectors. 

As we have open systems, you will be able to connect to our motors if you have a female XT-90 or XT-90S connector. You'll also be able to use any third-party battery from different suppliers. 

If your battery option has a different connector type (such as Anderson or XT60) you can simply replace the connector with a new XT90 connector through an adapter. 

Li-ion vs Lifep04 batteries

Lifep04 batteries are more prone to catching fire but has a higher discharge rate. 

As long as the specification works: Weight, size, discharge current- and the battery is made a reliable source. Both chemistry works.

US Plug

Unfortunately, all batteries come with US plug for better management. You could buy the adapter plug if needed.

Side Mounting

Disclaimer: Physical changes made to the case will void warranty. Moving the mounting bracket to the side has not been formally tested and so we cannot guarantee the longevity of the case. 

It is better to use the potted side of the case however, this will require removing some of the potting that may cause damage if not carefully done. Images on our website and materials provided are for reference only.
