X1 Pro Gen 4: X12 Controller Replacement Guide

Overview

Use this guide to safely replace the X12 controller.

Tools Needed

• Hex Key
• Clean cloth

Step 1: Preparation

1. Recommended: Remove the motor from the frame for easier access.
2. Disconnecting the Freewheel is optional and not needed.

Step 2: Disconnect the Connectors

Step 3: Remove the Controller

1. Unscrew the 4 bolts securing the controller.
2. Gently slide the controller out.

Step 4: Install the New Controller

1. Plug in all connectors carefully.
2. Slide the controller into position.
3. Take care not to damage the Torque sensor wire
4. Secure it with the 4 bolts.

Step 5: Reassemble Everything

1. Reassemble all components.
2. Mount the motor back to the frame.
3. Ensure all cables are safely routed and not pinched.
