1:1 Wiring Harness 

Using the 1:1 wiring harness 

All kits with X-series controllers can use the 1:1 wiring harness if you do not want to install/ use a throttle at all. Once the 1:1 wiring harness is connected and you start up the kit, an error will appear on the display & the app. The error on the display will disappear after a moment and then you can continue using the kit with PAS. However, to eliminate the error, the throttle needs to be deactivated in the app's settings.  

You can deactivate the throttle in the throttle settings section of the ride control app.

The throttle is activated by default in the settings. You will need to disable the throttle in the CYC Ride Control app to use the 1:1 wiring harness without getting any errors. You can find this setting in the Throttle section of the settings menu in the app.
